Some States Are Now Trying to Ban Lab-Grown Meat

Spurious "war on ranching" cited as reason for legislation.

Months in jail and thousands of dollars in fines and legal fees—those are the consequences Alabamians and Arizonans could soon face for selling cell-cultured meat products that could cut into the profits of ranchers, farmers, and meatpackers in each state.

These are the most frustrating reactions. Governments should not be banning anything we want to put in our bodies. They also shouldn't be protecting the corporations from the consequences of their actions. There is a war on ranching. But this isn't the answer. The answer is for people to make better choices. Voluntarily. If my neighbor wants to eat a "plant" based diet. More power to him. I'm going to try to eat natural food including meat.

Wow. That's the role of government? If true they suck at it. Weird how often their advice aligns with corporations that bribe the leeches.

They have a terrible track record. They have a history of lying and being manipulated. If you recognize this then we should steer people away from their influence. Not justify it.

I hear you. I tend to be the optimistic one, always believing that those in power can change their stance.

I used to be optimistic about government. Years passed... more lies, more destruction. Bitcoin is what makes me optimistic.

Optimistic about government? Or optimistic in general?
What a shitty communist website that is.
