I've definitely experienced mental blocks throughout my life. I would say it all started during my high school years and didn't truly clear up until recently many years later. In short, at least in my experience, mental blocks come about because of something(s) within your health that need to be addressed and fixed. For me I had to address, change, and fix a good amount of factors within my life to rid the mental blocks and the constantly lingering brain fog. But with that being said, the biggest change that helped me with mental blocks has been shifting my diet from being carb dependent to being fat adapted. Basically I've drastically lowered my intake of carbs and have in place increased the amount of quality fats I consume. After trying multiple ways to try and combat mental blocks, this for me has been the most effective and simple to start. From there, it's become easier to figure out other health improving modalities to implement and as your health improves, the less mental blocks you'll have on average. On a more recent note, I've seen improvements in my overall mental acuity by taking fish oil daily, and from practicing box breathing.

I know mental blocks and lack of mental energy can be extremely frustrating in the moment, but it's not meant to be chronic, as long as you experiment and figure out what the root cause may be. Could be diet, could be sleep quality, could be some sort of deficiency, could be your breathing, or could be everything combined. You'll find your way out friend!

Yes, there must be something. Still searching the root cause, however and have tried a lot of different things. It seems that a little yoga and a brisk walk are helping me out.
