Microlancer can be used for small or large tasks. Right now there are many microtask employers, but employers can also post large tasks (with built-in escrow) and workers can post their services. Upwork requires government ID and a bank account, so it's inaccessible for many people. Otherwise you can post jobs in https://bitcoinp2pmarketplace.com or https://bitejo.com (KYC-free and supports on-chain Bitcoin).
KYC-Free for either (or both) the client (employer) and the tasker (worker) is a crucial difference between traditional gig marketplace platforms like Upwork and most bitcoin-enabled platforms (like Microlancer).
It's disappointing that this approach to hiring even just for small gigs is taking so long to be embraced by the bitcoin ecosystem and community.
