Apparently it's ok to waste energy providing these politicians with internet, private jets, etc. It must be the consumer's fault how energy is generated. Sounds like maybe they should ban all energy sources that aren't hydro electric if they have a problem. These clowns want you using their gift certificate money instead of holding assets with value decided by the people

The EU will never ban proof of work because it probably wont make a dent in the hashrate and it would show how little power the EU has. But lets see
