Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed light-brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semisweet and/or milk chocolate chips
Instructions:
-
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda.
-
In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, salt, and vanilla extract until well combined.
-
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
-
Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
-
Stir in the chocolate chips.
-
Use a cookie scoop or tablespoons to drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
-
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft.
-
Remove from oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
-
Enjoy your freshly baked cookies!
