Also so we are clear, if I use Bitcoin to purchase goods and services in the USA, it’s a taxable event and I need to submit all of those or I commit tax evasion? Yes, I’m the guy who posted about finishing my taxes yesterday.
Believe me I want to get there and am trying to use the infrastructure and stay within the law. I just don’t see how that is feasible with the current environment. I get it, it’s a catch 22 as we need to use bitcoin for it to thrive. I’m currently in the HODL to cold storage phase with a few lightning wallets! I did like that Christmas secret Santa that you set up and send some sats there!

To be clear I shared a fact, actual law. I despise taxes of all types. It’s theft. But I follow laws, I have a family, and prefer not to get large fines or jail time for tax evasion as I know people who got caught for that.

Actually it means a lot. It increases the purchasing power of every other Bitcoiner. That’s like saying the Microstrategy Bitcoin HODL means nothing for adoption.
