yes, i am seeing apartment owners installing EV charging infrastructure ($1-2k cost) in their parking spots.

it pays itself off pretty quickly considering 100 miles of charge costs about $2.

the electricity is charged to the unit, but it’s not a huge cost either way.

ive yet to see a single apartment complex in my neck of the woods with more than a few token charging stations supplied by the local utility company via a state grant, i have never seen a privately funded ev charging station built by a landlord with their own dime... i dont remotely see the economics making sense for that to be privately funded, unless the result was higher rent or the tenants having to pay the electrical + a fee for the charge...you must be seeing something happening differently where you live.
