I've noticed more outlawed content than normal.
Do we have a new vigilante keeping our streets clean?
I haven't noticed any. You must be hanging out in the red light district. Haha.

I just say one in "recent" and it reminded me that I've seen several others over the past few days.
I think someone is subscribed to accounts they don't like and is downzapping them into oblivion as soon as they post.

It'd be cool if all the outlawed posts showed up in one place, like an outlaw territory--a hideout or something--so you could see what's ending up there.
reply
I agree. Maybe they'll let us filter for outlawed content at some point.

That’s mean…

If it's real people, then yes, but if it's spam bots, then they're doing us a service.
reply
I’m not sure it’s bots being down zapped so much as semi controversial posts / posters..
reply
I'm probably still fine with that. It's a community self-policing mechanism, but I would hope the downzappers are actually reading the posts before nuking them.
reply
Agreed. My fear is it’s MSM gaming…

Siggy mentioned a similar concern. It's pretty early to be engaging in that sort of thing.

I noticed a few comments that were from outlaws today. Nice to see :)
reply
Me too. Does that mean that account has received tons of downzaps? I thought the outlaw tag was for specific posts or comments.
reply
I don't know. FAQ says
If an item gets flagged by stackers with enough combined trust, it is outlawed and hidden from view for stackers on Tenderfoot mode. If you wish to see this flagged content without any modifications, you can enable Wild West mode in your settings.

Was this part of down zapping with the new competition this week?
reply
I imagine so

Really? I still have my training wheels on so I can’t see the bad internet
