What a coincidence! I just attended a working memory webinar by Andrew Watson yesterday. He shared that simple uncluttered diagrams work more effectively than colourful ones with lots of details. The reason being, less details facilitate focus n memory retention.
Sounds like what my English teacher used to say, Keep It Simple, Stupid
