Basil Pesto is a classic of Italian cuisine that goes well with a multitude of recipes, with walnuts it is even better, perfect for pasta and sandwiches.
Ingredients
2 cups of Basil Leaves
1/3 cup of walnuts
1/3 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
Oil
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 clove of garlic
2 teaspoons of lemon juice
Black pepper (optional)
method of preparation
1-Add all the ingredients to a processor and blend until you obtain a paste. (You may need to scrape the sides a few times).
2-Taste and adjust the salt to your taste, you can also add black pepper.
