What are the most insightful Bitcoin Twitter/X accounts you follow to stay up to date with what's happening with the network, institutions, relevant events, buying metrics, etc.? Anything that informs you on the big picture.

Anybody in particular I should follow?

Fuck Twitter.
Go Nostr.

reply

Why do you say that?

reply

Twitter = Slave sheep, Fiat
Nostr = Freedom, Bitcoin

What five insightful Bitcoin Nostr accounts do you recommend?

I've had access to Nostr for a while, I've found it slow, and hard to find people.

or... you could just copy my Follow list: https://snort.social/skipper

reply

Excellent, that's exactly what I've been after. Many thanks!

All cypherpunks are on Nostr, not on permissioned centralized censored service Twatter with a business model of national state collusion and psychological manipulation via privacy invasive data collection and targeted advertising.

Just search, you will find more good people to follow :)

Probably, X isn't that great, because centralization isn't great.

Decentralization is the way forward. Private, unstoppable, and uncensored.

Lyn Alden not big fan of him, but you might like his posts...

Why are you not a fan of her? A few months ago, I wrote down a lot of things that were pissing me off including the behavior of some famous bitcoiners. I struggled to write anything down about Lyn that I don't like. I didn't like that.

He's a trader/investor, not a bitcoiner cypherpunk freedom-fighter anti-statist... He's obssesed with fiat and investments. He said that Bitcoin is "risky" and that he only has a small percentage of Bitcoin allocation in his "portfolio". He prefers to hold a lot of stocks and other assets for "risk allocation" because he views bitcoin as a risky asset.. In other words, he doesn't understand Bitcoin, he's just a trader / "investor", like all others Twitter influencers.

There are some excellent accounts on Twitter, but to be as honest with you as I can, the environment is just too brain-leeching to bother with. Every time I use Twitter I'm basically creatively finished for the day.
