It's actually a^2+b^2=c^2. Missing the powers of 2 makes a big difference.
Also, I would call this scheme the isosceles triangle; not a lot of Pythagorean to it.

Actually, Pythagoras (which you're mispronouncing, btw) was an expert on triangles in general and not even the originator of the formula that bears his name today.

Those guys were all elite wrestlers, so maybe. I don't know what his height, weight, arm length were, though. I think Plato was supposed to have been a pretty big dude.
