GNU/Linux
Technically correct is best correct!
Or is it ((GNU Not Unix) Not Unix) Not Unix) Linux
Welcome ~Linux territory!

Don't let this propaganda funded map fool you. The Debian continent is 3x larger than RedHat/Fedora.
I’m using Manjaro with Gnome currently and find it a really stable and easy to use distro. Been a die hard Ubuntu fan, but imho it kind of moved away from its roots.
Hope that Manjaro stays as you’re experiencing it, I heard pretty bad things about the management behind that distro..
Got any links? I’ve had nothing but pleasure using it for the past four months…

One of the reasons why I am afraid of less common distros such as Gentoo or Alpine is that I think I may not find enough information needed to install all the dependencies required to compile Bitcoin Core and Core Lightning nodes from source. That is why I tend to use Debian or its derivatives like Ubuntu or Antix-base. How has you experience with installing software needed to run Bitcoin been?
I'll be honest, I don't use Gentoo as the base OS for a server mostly for this reason. I do use it as my daily driver desktop/laptop OS, and for things that aren't in the package manager I'll throw together a quick Docker wrapper using the newest Ubuntu Server LTS or whatever the install instructions suggest.
I'll have to try this approach some day with Docker.
I was using Ubuntu - but the Snaps drove me away. Due to the substandard performance, horrible load times, and UI/System integration issues reached a tipping point. So back to Debian - and I've found it's improved MUCH over the past 10 years. Very happy again.
Do any of you kids remember Slackware? lol
Alpine Linux
I use a lot of flavors! These are the ones I use on a regular basis:

I have Ubuntu running some home servers but I don’t use it as my DD
Somebody will be happy this territory exists now. Apparently all they had to do was ask
I had wondered myself why it didn't exist, so when I saw that post I figured I'd give it a shot. Maybe it'll even break even at some point 💩.
I run many. Antix on my Laptops and ubuntu on my other Desktop PCs.
Why Antix? Are they low spec or is there any other reason to choose that distro?
I use Antix-base. It is very lightweight, especially the icewm window manager and also easy to use on a laptop as it is floating. Also Antix is easier to customize for me than Debian.
My journey with linux started long time ago. I dont remember first distro but I am arch user for some years now and before that I did used gentoo.
looking forward to see development of this territory, thanks for create it
I'm about to jump into NixOS tho...
Wish me luck 🫤
You will need it. It’s a great distro with some great tooling, but the learning curve is quite steep. Still, a great learning journey!
