I know it might be silly or novice to ask but I wasn't left with any other choice.
I'm novice here, albeit not new to writing on online editing tools. But for some reasons within my first month on SN, I am unable to figure out how all others can insert links in words or phrases.

Are we suppose to Embedded the link somewhere else than paste in here on SN?
Or, is there a hidden tool by which we can embedded words and phrases?
Use markdown. Here's a handy guide.
To make text a link, put square brackets around the words you want to be the link followed immediately with no space by parenthesis around the link itself.
Like so:
[the text of the link](the link itself)

Don't leave a space between the square brackets and the round brackets.
