Marathon yesterday announced their Anduro layer two proposal. While there aren't really any fundamentally new pieces or developments in the Anduro design, they do compose in slightly different ways compared to other existing sidechain systems such as RSK or Liquid/Elements.
I don't get it, if you're just using a federated model, why not be part of the liquid if you're merge mining just do RSK, this just seems like a miner wants to get into the custody business with extra steps and try to migrate some of that ordinal speculation in their own walled garden where they can get a more reliable part of the fees
Good luck to them though, experimentation is always welcome
