Carole King is a US singer/songwriter, who has written or co written an incredible 118 hits. Although her contribution is mainly songwriting, she also is a successful performer. I think her album Tapestry was the best selling album of all time until Michael Jackson's Thriller. This is one of her most famous songs, covered by just about everyone.
