In that case, language. I am not convinced bitcoin or something similar leads to peace. Look at the comments on SN lol

The major wars have been English speaking vs German or Russian, Hebrew vs Arabic

There have been civil wars and Korean and Vietnam war where combatants spoke same language.

Maybe currency is more important than language
