There is (at least?) one. @lukedashjr has been maintaining his own modded releases of Bitcoin Core for more than 10 years, with all the features and fixes he believes should have made it into Core.
It's called Bitcoin Knots.
Yes, I know. Core still needs more competition, and Core should probably be the most conservative implementation.
