.I tried with

I went on their website, https://www.fedi.xyz/faq . I cannot find the link to their repository or the link to their apk package. Where did you download it from?
From their FAQ:
They might not have "unofficial" release channels yet.
There is https://github.com/fedibtc/fedi-alpha/releases if you want the APK.
