Indeed, I think I remember the book mentioning a form of Zeus Pitar itself, and I believe he is usually associated with Jupiter...

Good point! I think also at some point our predecessors believed that Jupiter or Saturn was the Sun at night. In some circles Saturn is the Black Sun.
