I do love the Manson version, there's an element of nostalgia in there for me aswell. But Depeche Mode were so iconic and we're one of the founding sounds for what later became goth.

I view MM version less like a rip off of a cover and more like a tribute of a cover. But I think that's just a personal way to view something.
