It makes sense that the rising stars games were more competitive. These guys are still trying to prove themselves and they were playing against a G league team. Maybe the team that wins the Rising Stars should be the 4th team in the All Star tournament. These guys are not going to want to lose to a bunch of rookies.

You know, that might work really well. The first half of the All-Star game wasn't nearly as bad as the second (full disclosure: I stopped watching in the 3rd). Three shorter games with a draft gimmick, might just keep the players interested.
