Breville(or Sage) Barista Express is a great one if you can get it in your budget. Used mine for years to great effect.
Can you be more specific? Are you looking for a powder machine, a capsule one, a pods one, or...? Big time espresso consumer (and I'm Italian, don't know if that awards me extra points), maybe I can help.
