I guess he felt he had some hand in it.
His text saved my life.
I suppose it’s comforting to think that way. I also think it’s comforting to think of it as a warning shot too. Bc there’s someone in charge I could please to mitigate disaster.
My thought process is, people cut corners, and it costs lives. That thought is way scarier than a warning shot.
