Thanks @siggy47. Now I have to listen to this. Not a Webb fan. Hope I'm wrong about her but she gives me scammy vibes for some reason. I can't really put it in words but I don't trust her. The last WBD she was on didn't give me the vibes I've had before. Maybe I have misjudged her.
The real shock for me is Mark Goodwin. I'm not a Bitcoin Magazine fan, but he really impresses me. You really don't need any of them, though, to see the potential for bitcoin to be manipulated and controlled. Just look what financial institutions have done in the past to securities, gold, silver, nickel, etc.

I'm intrigued. I'm always looking for problems and risks with bitcoin. Everything has risks. Everything. Its all about tradeoffs. My thing with this ETF stuff is really what are we to do? ETFs were inevitable. My guess is, stay humble. Stack sats. Use and support the open source software. Maybe home mine if you can. Teach the kids about inflation and how to escape it. Stop supporting the beast. I'm doing my part.

I feel the same way. There's nothing we can do but make others aware of the danger. The basics still apply. We of course need to self custody. I run my node, I'm saving my sats for an S-19, use Linux and graphene, and I am setting up a private server. The only chance I see is to think decentralization in all respects,-ownership, nodes, mining, exchanges, etc.
