I've been a YNAB4 user for a while now and it works pretty well. Recently I wanted to start tracking my budget in sats and YNAB doesn't have this functionality. I'm guessing the best way to go here is use a spreadsheet locally and just figure it out myself. Any tips here?

Simple excel spreadsheet. Can make any conversions just by adding a column/row and putting in the formula.

An excel is the most customizable. You can do it and leave it to your liking, with the colors, columns and data you need.
You can even add, as @KeynesianClowns says, a column with the price calculation.
Which, by the way, you can obtain at any time with the formula:
GOOGLEFINANCE("Currency:BTCUSD")
Or using an API, like Coingecko's:

I am working on a web application that allows managing personal finances in different currencies.
Taking into account that I am developing this app alone, in my free time, which is few, and that it is quite large and complex, it will take a few years to have it 100% complete.
