As I said in a previous comment, I was mining bitcoin with ASICs in 2013-2015 then stopped as it was too expensive to mine. Today, the technology is so advanced, so it is possible to mine Sats in a sustainable way.
Introducing the FutureBit Apollo BTC Miner!
FutureBit Apollo BTC is the world's first vertically integrated platform bringing the full power of Bitcoin and it’s mining infrastructure in a small, quiet, easy to use desktop device.
The manufacturer say that "the new Apollo BTC product is a revamped SBC (Single Board Computer), that is as powerful as any consumer grade desktop system and can run almost any Bitcoin Application natively on the device 24/7."
Easy to set-up: Take it out of the Box, plug it in, power it on, and you are already running a full Bitcoin node without needing to do anything.
Install a wallet of your choice, use any hardware wallet, run BTCPayServer, run a block explorer, run a Lightning Node.
See the video for easy installation: https://youtu.be/BzvIhFzm9sk?si=RGO3ILiG1u7_dlyn
All of this is possible with the six core ARM based CPU with 4GB of RAM, and a 1TB NVMe drive that can easily store a FULL non pruned Bitcoin Node.
The company has 6 years of experience in building ASIC mining devices. The mining device is silent and mines Bitcoin in the background 24/7, and only use the power of one light bulb to do it.
Features:
  • Six CPU Cores.
  • 44 ASIC Cores.
  • 1TB NVMe Based SSD Drive.
  • Quiet.
  • Less than 200 Watts of Power.
  • Made in the USA.

I plan to buy one or even create a farm. But first I must do more research in order to find out how profitable this sustainable mining will be in the next year.
It is time to take back the portion of our bitcoins! Success! Teodor
The "profitable" is a hard no in terms of fiat, mining hardware is capital intensive, so economy of scale is the only way to be "profitable".
Now... if you want to learn and add more decentralization seems a good fit, easy and end user ready.
Something a little more focus on mining and learning could be a bitaxe.

You can check #388962 I just check the setup and it's using an apollo and bitaxe.

Thank you very much for valuable information!

You should look into what Adam Back has been up to with Block streams mining research. I have not caught up on any news but his intent is to open source a solar mining solution that is profitable so if you're looking for some sort of business framework on how to do it this may be a good start.
