Frank Sinatra was a US singer from New Jersey. Known as Chairman Of The Board and Old Blue Eyes, he was one of the most popular singers of the mid 20th century. Although he was before my time, many of his songs have become favorites of mine over the years. This is one of them:

There's a mini lineage here where Bing Crosby passed the baton to Sinatra. Both Bing and Sinatra helped mentor Tony Bennett (Bing suggested Tony change his given name to Bennett, whilst Frank helped Tony with nerves).
It'd be nice to think that there's a new crooning champion down the line - any suggestions as to who could fill these shoes?
