Basically everything in pages/items/[id] is a potential route plus any query params like commentId which is worth keeping the special case for. There might be a way to do this generically.
Oh, of course, I could have looked in our pages folder. But I guess no one tests their assumptions when they are already convinced they are right.
We all just need to remove that part of our brain that's convinced we're right and none of this would ever happen.
