in the last few years, there has been alot of conversation in the bitcoin developer community around the importance of submitting code under a nym when contributing to bitcoin-related projects due to governmental over-reaching crackdowns and litigation from bad actors. i'd love to get some tips on how to do this well. services to use. things to do/not do. etc.
i'm also very curious how best to use a nym while also making sure your personal contributions are able to continue to some extent. i'd assume maintaining a public persona would be necessary to not expose that you have started contributing under a nym as well. is it easiest to just segregate personas between computers or is it possible to effectively contribute as two "people" on the same machine?
In all things, tradeoffs. A consistent identity helps build reputation. But it also makes your moves easier to follow.
