Moderation doesn't however require identity exposure, which is what they're doing by requiring a phone number.

I don't see the appeal.

Nostr is the way. Even if Nostr is not a possibility for some reason, the activity pub network (also known as the fediverse) is a better ecosystem.

How is this different than the rest of the bunch, still requires an email and phone number. I thought we went through this already... The first wave is a curiosity factor nothing else, I will stick with nostr until something else comes around that is worth my time.

Trying to create a "new bitcoin" or "new Twitter" without understanding their uniqueness is like trying to reinvent the wheel twice.
