Why does a Bitcoin learning app collect personal data? https://www.freeprivacypolicy.com/live/7e9a8f54-5d46-441e-b9ad-6a254c42e3d5

Why does a Bitcoin learning app need a seven-page long terms and conditions? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1U69BQjYODp1yvkbW4QJ7iad7wVtq07ya/view (and why is stored on a Google Drive?)

Where is the Nostr social? Is X the first thing that comes to your mind as a lover of freedom, privacy and decentralization?

What's the source of the sats used as rewards in a Bitcoin learning app when given out for free?
-
Why are you asking for IRL names to join the waitlist?
-
Why no open-source the app?
I will pass. The website and design looks great tho.
Jippi Founder here, thanks for the feedback.
- & 2. Happy to remove all of the legalese and distill both the privacy policy and terms and conditions down to a few sentences. These were boilerplate when the project was first started. TLDR; we collect an email so we can email users about when we launch & gather feedback. We use phone auth to log in to the app so users don't need to remember a password.
Jippi will launch with legacy tech. Of course, our north star is to move to LNURL-Auth and to move to decentralized tools eventually and open source the tech.

I respect your Nostr views, but we're going after normies. We aim to orange-pill beginners. Nostr is a Bitcoiner playground that still needs traction among those who are not familiar with how to interact with protocol-based apps. The UI/UX needs work. Legacy social media is where our demographic is for now.

Currently we are self-funding through our MVP. We will implement a paid subscription model to offer personalized educational materials and multipliers for higher sats rewards etc. Along with other revenue ideas.

While the form does say First Name, folks are welcome to enter whatever identifier they wish here. Many sign-ups have used pseudonyms. We are not enforcing first-name collecting.
