Maybe in a near future, the new comers will be not able to open a new lightning channel or move some SATs over the main net.

Maybe not a social difference, but for sure LN will be used as a payment method and on chain as a savings account.
Sounds like a cyberpunk story but I could see it happening.
Right it’s still early but at spikes the % it would cost to move the little bit of satoshi I have here to a main net wallet would be huge.
I feel like the node runners will be like ATM machines at a gas station. They make their cut to get the funds you need.
