I gave it a read but he used some unfamiliar terms which distracts from the point he is trying to make. Keep it simple :)
For example this statement
Scale-free networks are power-law distributed
It makes no sense at first glance :)

  1. Referring to mining is incomplete and the implied centralization argument is wrong since in 4-5 year timespan polls have changed.

  1. Later in the post this phenomena is explained a bit: networks collating and rebuilding in repeated cycles.
  2. I like this post. Looks close to my observations while calculating various network metrics for LN
  3. However, it feels like there are not enough conclusions and generalizations for Bitcoin/LN specifically. For example these networks are wildly competitive so maybe it makes sense to research its evolution.
  4. In addition, in LN big hubs have higher security risks. And we may redefine "hub" term as such. It may be hub with low liquidity but many channels and it may be "money hub" with large liquidity and very few connections.
