The further one ventures down the bitcoin rabbit hole, the more he aligns himself ideologically with other bitcoiners. Low time-preference, living within one’s means (staying humble & stacking sats), truth-seeking, and self-improvement all seem to be tenants of the bitcoin ethos that make bitcoiners stand apart from the rest of the culture.
Do you think this is an economic function of bitcoin that alters the behaviors of its adopters?
Or is this simply another example of “group think” where a few thought-leaders in the bitcoin space shape the narrative of how a “true bitcoiner” ought to live?
How has bitcoin changed you, personally?
How much change occurred in your life as a function of you adopting bitcoin?

Before I understood bitcoin, I had a lot things floating in the background - distrust of the system, didn’t believe what was being said about economics, MSM, etc… but was in a rat race and between moments of enlightenment I would zone out and be an NPC.
Once I started setting Bitcoin savings goals, this shifted and I was able to bring ideas to be more constant in my life.

What was it about bitcoin savings goals that allowed you to focus and drown out the noise?
