Because he wanted to tax us for holding BTC, that's why he wanted to make us use it so he will know who has BTC.

His plan is simple since the beginning. Make us declare our dollars, BTC and crypto via tax cuts so he can pay with our wealth.
Also the anti central bank is fake, just marketing. He wants to "close" the central bank but create a regulator entity, meaning the insurance of the banks so the financial system party goes on. Also it's just fake cause we will change our central bank (printing money) for the Fed and everybody knows Jerome.
He is just another undercover peronist that wants the power of the congress to make laws so he won't need the congress, just like a dictatorship

I have been very disappointed in seeing a number of bitcoiners whom I highly respect showing support for Milei.
Is it possible that they're right and I'm wrong ? Always worth considering that possibility but the signs are so abundantly clear that Milei is "a complete sellout and a US empire dog", as you put it, that I'm very confident (sadly) that no, they are wrong and are either being willfully or ignorantly blind.

We already saw this with other govs here, they said we can declare our hidden wealth (dollars) without paying taxes... Then they taxed us. This is why nobody will do it.

I think a lot of these guys are taking after Trump. They saw how successful you can be by just saying crazy things. It's the "no such thing as bad publicity" effect.
Anyway, I feel sorry for the people of Argentina. I learned about the black market for dollars, which is fascinating but sad. Hopefully Bitcoin (or even stablecoins ) can provide some relief. I can't imagine living with 100 percent inflation.
