ChatGPT is better than search in some ways. Good enough that I go to it for certain kinds of queries (mainly programming snippets and general subject-based inquiry). Prefer to keep search and LLMs separate for now, but glad that others are experimenting.
IME AI is not better at these kinds of tasks but it is different. I think perplexity is a little overindexed on AI summaries and I would prefer more priority given to sources.

I'm just more concerned with what it was trained with, any biases, hallucinations, etc... But you know that AI powered search is here to stay. If I need any AI, I'll just stick with ChatGPT for the time being. Mainly since it is better than Stackoverflow when searching for something. :)
