Just don't make it the kabob. Too many lines.

reply

I was down with the kabob. Only time I ever saw someone use a sats symbol it was the kabob.

reply

the kabob is indeed the most used sats symbol, but Bitkit and Coinos currently uses âš¡

That's the lightning symbol.

it's also the sats symbol in Bitkit and Coinos! some bitcoiners like this idea (see 1, 2, 3, 4).

thanks for sharing!

at the end, the symbol must be accepted and implemented by the community else we can go searching for another one.

true, the ultimate sats symbol will end up being whichever people decide to use!

I think âš¡ is fine, we could pretend it stands for proof of work, energy or electricity, bitcoin is closely related to all of them. Also, nothing is stopping future scaling solutions to choose names that hint back to this meaning.

reply

âš¡ served Bitkit well so far, but it has many issues. here's why it's being removed: https://x.com/bitkitwallet/status/1753468471185478139

reply

Yeah, i've read the thread, but i don't agree with bitkit.

that's so accurate 😂! but ironically, i think satsymbol.org reduces the number of standards, not increases...

Let's just use "â‚¿s" and be done with it ;)
