Maybe you want to diversify from bitcoin mining to get another revenue stream, Bitcoin miners don't have to be one trick ponys

You shouldn't be Bitcoin miner to stack some general purpose hardware and provide services. Nothing to do with ASIC mining. But providing storage has different reliability requirements than ASICs.
