Access to Compuserve through the mainframe at the University of Southern Mississippi. You had to go to the lab with the mainframe to get on a terminal. Our Bank Management professor ran a simulation of the U. S. economy, gave each team a $500 million bank and the team with the most owners equity at the end of the semester won and earned the A in the course. Straight competition.
One day jerking around out of interest I found the ability to go online to Compuserve. Good times!
