The point is that you do them. In the Army I went from 12 to 100 in two minutes. So far I've done 50. I do them very strict and at form. What you can do is get on your knees and do 10 every half hour. Hell, you can bang out on your knees 20! Do it 5 times.
That's what we did when we got tired. We would do sissy push ups until that hurt, too!
Also when you finish a set stay on your knees and go slowly to the sky and push 10 times to gently stretch out.
You can do it.
