Hey stackers, a probably crazy idea just landed in my head, but the more I meditate about it the more I like it, I even see it profitable for entertainment venues, although it may be paradoxical, let's get to the point...
💡 Idea | Goals
Apply discounts in the form of bitcoin rewards on non-alcoholic beverages during certain stretches of the night time. The goals are visibilize bitcoin, raise awareness of the dangers of alcoholism and build customer loyalty around your business
🍸 Background
Bars usually have a time slot in which they do just the opposite, encourage you to drink alcohol until you pass out, usually called happy hour.
🌟 Proposal
Turn happy hour into satoshi hour, an hour during the night when if you prefer to drink a juice or a soft drink instead of a beer or a cubata, as a user you receive two advantages, a cashback in the form of satoshis, plus two messages, a random paragraph from the Bitcoin whitepaper and a sentence about the advantages of not being a regular alcohol drinker, both attached to the transaction.
🏁 Conclusion
Non-alcoholic beverages usually have a high profit margin, plus during nighttime their demand is much lower than during daytime, so it does not seem a bad idea to apply a 10% bitcoin cashback to them during the satoshi hour. Thus, if a soft drink costs 2.50€ the user who requests it during the satoshi hour will receive 0.25€ in bitcoin in addition to the corresponding messages, as an extra incentive we could give stickers, t-shirts and all kinds of merchandising to those users who reach a certain number of purchases during, for example 1 sticker for every 5 soft drinks requested, 1 t-shirt for every 50 soft drinks, etc ....
