Never used blink but the daily limits is not something lightning does, I think they also integrate with an exchange or something, but to answer about some points, Bitcoin main purpose is not to be better Visa, Visa and Mastercard works fine. If it works best for your scenario use it. What Lightning will offer is uncesorable transactions. Visa and MC with your bank can deny you service, lightning is permissionless and open source so anyone can build features on it, also you can send LN payments to anyone and do micro payments, credit card not, and you can also it's still early in Lightning, things will still improve. About the fees, Visa fees are higher and are NOT always priced in, many payments online if you pay with credit card you pay an extra fee, also many merchants deny credit card payments below a certain value because of fees. Some LN wallets charge a fee like that because they run services for you, some charge only when you top-up I think, but you can run your own node if you want. The good thing is LN is open source so competition will push fees down. Also lightning dont hold your funds, unless it's something from blink. To sum up, if you don't have advantage in using LN in a situation then don't. I personally think LN payments are easier, cheaper (credit cards are not priced in), and I prefer the fees to go to Bitcoin development and for the open source service I'm using.
