Time is flying. We are only two days away from the NFL Championship games. I will be posting the Championship round pick 'em shortly.

The finalists for NFL awards were released yesterday. You can review them in this post #400979. Join our conversation of what they got right, who got snubbed and who you think the winners will be.

Also announced yesterday were the starters for the NBA all star game. Here are the starters:

Eastern Conference Giannis Antetokounmpo- Captain Joel Embiid Jayson Tatum Tyrese Haliburton Damian Lillard

Western Conference Lebron James- Captain Kevin Durant Nikola Jokic Luka Doncic Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

I was pleased to see SGA getting the starting nod. What are your thoughts on the starting lineups? Any you disagree with? Anyone get snubbed?

They also released the all star jersey designs and I didn't hate them. Things are looking up.

No disrespect to Dame, but I feel Brunson got snubbed, because he's been playing lights out and actually helped make the Knicks relevant.

I also like seeing SGA in the starting line up. Well deserved.

Incredible. Heard another crazy stat yesterday while watching some of the Australian Open. Novak Djokovic is the first player ever to have played 100 matches at each grand slam tournament and the first ever to win at least 80 matches at each grand slam tournament. He lost yesterday though.

Those teams seem fine. I think Luka and Lebron play the same position, so Luka should be the other forward over Durant and Steph should be the second guard.

I do think of the All-Star selections differently than All-NBA and fame/legacy should play a role. That's why Dame doesn't bother me, even if some other guards had similar or better cases.

Btw, someone laid a big wager on the Lions and it looks like you're gonna be rich if your niners win the game (I'll be pretty happy too).

I don't know about rich but thanks for the heads up. I added another 2k sats to my 49ers bet. 5k riding on them now. Of course last time I made a bet that big was against the Ravens and that didn't work so well.
