I'd like to hear other stackers thoughts on this. Looked into it a couple weeks ago but didn't see it changing my behavior much. Seems to support the vibes I get here around energy usage as being a positive thing.

Sorry to say, but what you just wrote is nonsense. Energy usage IS positive, it is civilization, it is what brought us from caves and camp fires to the moon. It's not that we say that using energy is good, that is a fact. The alternative, to reduce energy usage, leads back to caves and camp fires through mass starvation.
