I'm with you. Embiid is on my list of awesome regular season guys I don't trust in the playoffs.
Off the top of my head, here's my all-time team of such players. PG: Westbrook SG: Harden SF: Barkley PF: Malone C: Embiid
That might be a fun post for after Embiid flames out in the playoffs this year.
Would be fun to do one for each sport.

Who were thinking about with that?

Clayton Kershaw is one in baseball. I could pick from any number of the Maple Leafs all stars who all shrivel in the playoffs for hockey. Dak is a good example in NFL. I am sure we can find a bunch more and have a robust debate.

Lots of good players crumble in the playoffs, but how many league MVP's do so in other sports?
Partly, I think the NBA's attention span is too low to reliably identify the right MVP.

Well Kershaw and Scherzer in baseball have probably been 2 of the best 3 pitchers in the game the last decade and neither has been good in the playoffs so that’s an example elite guys in other sports not performing in post season.
They have both had some good moments in the playoffs but overall performed sub par compared to their regular season numbers.

BTW what is this ridiculous court the Spurs are playing on. It is distracting me from this highly important rivalry game with the Thunder.

I'm getting caught up on the Heat game, but it's pretty ugly, so maybe I'll switch over.

SGA man. Steve Nash was great but SGA is going to go down as the best Canadian NBA player ever when it’s all said and done.
