I went to the Red Cross in my city. I went through three different interviews, just like in a job application, and they never called me back.

Hi there, 

I've some free time and I've been thinking about doing some work as a volunteer, my first option is at the Red Cross.

I'm just wondering if you have any experience working as a volunteer in a Non Profit Organisation, would you do it? Does this work really help the one in need?Or just help the organisation to grow bigger?

Any opinion / advices are welcome!
