This [post]( https://stacker.news/items/395237)  by @cryotosensei got me thinking about the book A Fan's Notes, by Frederick Exley. I read it years ago, and it's the best book I have ever read about being a sports fan. It can be depressing, but anyone who lives and dies with their team can relate to it.
