Wow, just Wow!

Canada's M2 just hit yet another new all-time high. Debasement party continues.

So much for higher rates slowing this down. Forever higher dollar prices of everything are mandatory?!

Bitcoin is the way ... it cannot be debased on you. This is the way!

Just think about this issue globally?

I discussed this on @kr's post yesterday. It is insane and it is accelerating.

The US/Can exchange rate is going to get nuts.

This! Just wait for the bleeding out 🩸

If you look here, you'll see the rapid increase in 2020 and after a bit of tapering off the rate of change (slope) increasing again. They can't escape the mathematical need to service the debt, especially after raising rates.

M2 did explode a few years ago, but this is not it. M2 is up 3.8% in the last year, which is really pedestrian compared to 2020.

important to note the y-axis on this chart.

Didn't know about this but had already saw the btc/cad chart and notice being already close to an ATH. So yeah i just assumed CAD printer was getting into speed. BTC is the true metric of currency de basement. Other currencies are in the same situation, on their way to hyper inflation. The yen is also close to an ATH.

The rave to debase as they say. Where the winners are the ultimate losers!

The initial spike and real damage done was back in COVID lockdown times. They printed more than US, other central banks.

Ah great chart, thanks!

Been watching M2 in South Africa too it's up 6.3% YOY, the race to debase just keeps doing bigger numbers each year its crazy how people don't take this into account when they're measuring their investments and pricing simple things like their own labour.

Ah the race to debase, great one. The winners are the losers!
