I'm a research economist. It's an ok job. I don't love it. It does not contribute to bitcoin. I would like to transition my work more into the bitcoin space, but I haven't thought of a good way to do so yet.
Am I supposed to be getting paid for that? Where's my contract?
Seriously, though, I consider that part of whatever this transition is going to look like: finding cool projects I can contribute to, while somehow stacking enough to pay the bills.
I take care of office plants. This means I carry my tools in my car from place to place, fill water buckets and wander around an office or lobby to check on the growth of their dracaenas, pothos, corn plants, snake plants. Today I'll be working at Samsung, so that's kinda interesting. It suits me, as I have a love of growing things and I don't have to speak much at all. In fact, I listen to books podcasts while I work. And it gives me with the space to do other things that are bitcoin related.
I teach English to secondary school students. I still love the art and science of teaching itself, but teaching is a multilayered job in which I must chase after students for forms, do quotations to hire instructors, organise school events and basically do stuff unrelated to teaching. That I don’t enjoy. Not really, unless you count me introducing the Cointiply faucet to my hapless students. What? You mean providing V4V on SN isn’t considered working in BTC? Haha
Welcome back

Are you the author behind Freakonomics? Haha
Maybe I am, maybe I'm not, but I'm not about to let you dox me through process of elimination.
You're helping me with building delphi.market, right? Right? :)
But I guess you meant work that pays more than SN.
Woah a prediction market! Intriguing.
A good bet will be how many territories will there be around in Dec 2024 haha
I think @grayruby already made a bet on that.
I didn’t make a bet on it just discussed it. That would be a good event for Delphi but I want to bet real sats.
Let’s get real sat betting going @ekzyis. I won’t fault you if something goes wrong and you lose my sats.
Top priority for next 6 weeks :)
I'm in!
Excellent
